Deal of the Week : Miu Miu Velvet Ballet Flats
I love Black Friday. It's a tradition for me, and this year, amid the beautiful flurry of morning specials and designer sales, these Miu Miu flats stood out the most to me. Rich in color, the delicate bow reminds me of the big, velvet bows my Dad would decorate our house with every Christmas. Originally retailing for $315.00, the Miu Miu flats are now available for $219.99 and are guaranteed to last through countless holiday gatherings.

Comfy Cozy are We: Cozy Cardigans Starting at $38
I've always loved cardigans. They add so much to a plain jeans and t-shirt look. Luckily, since I live in Seattle now and the weather here is pretty temperate, cardigans are pretty much year-round. Since it's not officially wintertime here yet, I can get away with wearing a thick cardigan instead of a jacket, which is my new favorite look. Here are some of the cozy, yet totally cute cardigans I've found.

Holiday Style, Week 2: Sequins
One of my must-do Bucket List items is to wear a sequin dress. :) It's a little silly, I know, but I added it to my list sometime in the '90s when sequins were reserved for Miss America evening gowns. While I definitely don't miss '90s fashion, in my mind, sequins will always be glamourous. Luckily, the options are almost limitless.

Stud Muffin: Fun Stud Earrings Starting at $28
I've never been much of a jewelry girl, but I've always loved earrings, especially the big, almost shoulder-grazing kind. I've been in that big earring phase for years now, but recently, I've found myself obsessed with studs. Maybe I just never paid as much attention to them, but everywhere I look, designers from Marc Jacobs to Juicy Couture are designing super-cute stud earrings.
Here are some of my favorites. (I recently bought two of the ones shown below.) :)

Hot Leather
All my favorite things are made of leather: shoes, purses, leather chaps. Ok, I'm just kidding about that last one. :) I suppose leather's always been around, but it's refreshing to see it now in new silhouettes.Usually when I hear "leather skirt", I can't help but think of Kelly Bundy in her skintight, rocker leather mini, but the ones featured below definitely don't bring that image to mind.

Got My Gold Watch
The first Rolex I ever put on belonged to my Dad. It was the Day-Date in silver, and I wore it all the time during a phase in high school when I was obsessed with men's watches. Well, high school was a long time ago, but luckily, menswear is back proving that the Rolex look truly is timeless.
If you're like me and don't have the cash for a Rolex, here are some tips on finding good-quality, alternative gold watches:
* Make sure the gold isn't too brassy - anything too bright will look obviously cheap
* To be on trend, make sure the watch face is simple - subtle numbers, basic colors
* Menswear is supposed to be oversized, but don't overdo it

Zip Me Up: Really Exposed Zipper Pieces Starting at $21
I've always had a tendency towards pieces with a bit of edginess, so when exposed zippers began appearing on everything from camis to flats, I started looking for some of the most wearable pieces. The trick to wearing exposed zippers is to not overdo it by pairing them with softer fabrics. Here are some great pieces I've found that work really well for day-to-day.

Chain, Chain, Chain
Recently, I found myself with a little extra disposible income. When I decided to pick up the Dior Soft Lady Tote, my car decided it was more deserving of the cash. I know it's the most tragic story ever, but it inspired me to search for less expensive alternatives. Here's what I found.
